A Christmas Carol

On Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge, a grumpy, selfish, and miserly old man who hates Christmas and is rude to everyone, arrives home to find strange things starting to happen. Among them, the ghost of Marley, his former business partner who died some years ago, appears with a bundle of chains fastened around his waist and a warning: in life, he had been exactly like Scrooge, and his punishment was to wander for all eternity bearing those chains. But there''''''''s still hope for Scrooge: that night, three spirits will visit him, taking him on a journey to reflect on his actions.And so the old man receives the visits of the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, who take him to see and re visit people and places, urging him to reconsider his life in order to become a better man and avoid the terrible fate that awaits him.
